Function 2600 is the Operation and Maintenance function. This function’s primary purpose is the maintaining and physical operation of district buildings. Custodial personnel, supplies, repairs, and other purchased services are to be charged to function 2600. This function is used in both fund 10 and fund 32 (capital projects). Function 2600 is also used for the purchase of new equipment that is not specifically for other function purposes.

Function 4000 is Buildings and Acquisition. This function’s primary purpose is new building and construction. This function is currently only used in fund 32, where all building construction takes place.
