The last Professional Development (PD) Day of the year is coming up on February 19th, 2019.

The schedule for this PD day is as follows:

8:00-11:45 School-based PD (Extension of district summer institute) 11:45-1:00 Lunch break 1:00-3:30 District PD (courses, book studies, & lecture series)

Registration for the afternoon PD sessions will be available starting February 6th. As you are registering, please be sure to thoroughly view all offerings before submitting your registration, as unregistering or changing registration can be complicated.

Be aware, that there are three types of professional learning sessions for educators to choose from: courses, block courses, and lecture series. The courses are each four-part series, attendance to all four sessions is required (registration for these occurred in August). Block courses are each 2-part series and will include implementation projects. The first cycle of block courses have now ended and a new cycle is open for registration, attendance at both sessions is required. Lecture series are various one-time presentations, this professional learning qualifies for re-licensure credit only.
