Engineering Design Process Professional Development

The Teaching and Learning Department is offering training with Dr. Steve Shumway on the engineering design process, an important component of STEM education for teachers in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. This training is for teachers that are new to STEM and teachers that would like to refresh their understanding. Training will be held 4-7 pm at the GLC on the following days:

• October 3 (all teachers)
• October 10 (3rd grade teachers)
• October 17 (4th grade teachers)
• October 24 (5th grade teachers)
• March Training Dates: TBA

Upon completion of the training, every teacher will have a better understanding of the process and have tasks with learning targets for their grade levels with materials to use in their classrooms.
