How can I create an inclusive classroom? Are there tools to help with behavior management? Is there a better way to organize my literacy block? What are other math teachers using to create blended learning classrooms?

Whatever questions are pressing on your mind can be discussed and answered at an EdCamp! The second annual EdCamp Wasatch South is coming Saturday, September 28th. This year it will be held at Lakeridge Jr. High.

Mariel Boone, fifth grade teacher at Westridge Elementary, had this to say about last year’s EdCamp:

“This was a fantastic experience!! I loved learning about break out boxes and different websites and so many other things I use in my classroom! This was one of the best PD conferences I have ever attended. I liked the choose your own topic, share what you know approach. It is a “buffet style” conference: you only take what interests you, you share your favorites, and you sure fill up fast!”

Come share your knowledge while learning from others with similar interests. There will be food, fun, prizes, and a whole lot of learning going on! All teachers K-12 are invited to join us Saturday, September 28th for this year’s EdCamp. It will be held at Lakeridge Jr. High in Alpine School District. To register, visit the eventbrite website.
