Early Literacy Training

As part of Provo City School District’s Early Literacy Plan and in alignment with early literacy goals, Mary Newbold and Ruthann Snow will be conducting trainings for 1st grade teachers. Drs. Jan Dole and Kerry Herman will be conducting trainings for 2nd grade teachers.

The first of those dates are listed below. School leaders are invited to attend the trainings. School grade level teams are asked to attend trainings together.

1st Grade Training

• Wednesday, September 25, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the GLC (Title I Schools)
• Thursday, September 26, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the GLC (Non-Title I Schools)

2nd Grade Training

• Monday, October 7, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the PDC (Title I Schools)
• Wednesday, October 9, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the GTC (Non-Title I Schools)
