The Board of Education recently approved $150,000 for teacher professional development. Using thit budget, the Teaching and Learning Department has created as incentive model to compensate teachers for completing professional development. This model includes three phases. After each phase is completed, teachers will receive a one-time payment.
The first phase is the Teacher Clarity Phase. To complete this phase, teachers must complete teacher clarity, submit evidence and complete two KYTE Learning Programs. Upon completing these steps, teachers will be paid $375.
To register for teacher clarity, a teacher needs to contact their school’s Professional Development Coordinator.
