Provo City School District has prepared Wonders Unit Assessments which will be required of all elementary teachers to administer to their students at the end of each unit of study. Kindergarten teachers will administer 10 unit assessments and 1st through 6th grade teachers will administer 6 unit assessments. The District Wonders Unit Assessments were created from Wonders curriculum and are aligned with state common core standards. District Wonders Unit Assessments will be delivered digitally to school sites and administered by classroom teachers. These new, district directed common assessments will allow teachers and administrators to evaluate students’ progress in solidifying district priority essentials identified in Grade Level Curriculum Notebooks. We appreciate your support as we move forward in implementing these assessments.
