American Heart Association CPR & First Aid Certification for Employees

The Provo City School District nurses are offering certification for American Heart Association Heartsaver K-12 CPR/AED and First Aid. This certification is valid for two years.

The cost is $15.00 and many schools cover this cost for their staff. Please check with your school before you come to be sure the cost will be covered.

It is required that at least three people at each school be certified in CPR & First Aid. However, certification is recommended for all school staff, especially those who work with medically fragile students.

If you were certified last summer (2021), your certification is still current.

• The in person skill sessions will be June 1st, June 2nd, August 2nd, and August 3rd 2022.
• Times will be at 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 12pm, and 1pm.
• All sessions will be held at the Grandview Technology Center
• 1591 Jordan Avenue, Provo.
