A Thumbs Up to Our Techs

We would be lost without the techs in our district! They are quick to lend a helping hand and keep the cogs of the district running smoothly. From websites, to internet, to Chromebook and promethean boards, we are always in need of their skillful expertise.

This month, we are focusing on celebrating our Education Support Professionals. Twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, we are recognizing different groups that fall under the Educational Support Professional title and today the group we are highlighting is our techs.

The Provo City School District Technology Department is dedicated to enriching lives by facilitating technology advancement in our schools and community. You can find a field tech at each of our schools as well as a team of dedicated professionals working on everything tech including field tech, network systems, information systems, audio/visual, web systems, provisioning, networking and tech repair.

These sharp individuals play a vital role in keeping our schools running smoothly and, consequently, in positively impacting a child’s education. We are grateful for our Technology Department and appreciate all they do daily. The next time you see one of our techs in the field be sure to give them a high five!
