The Provo City School District nurses are offering online videos to be viewed on your own time and an in person skills pass-off session for CPR, AED and First Aid classes.
The American Heart Association certification for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid lasts 2 years.
The cost is $15.00 and many schools cover this cost for their staff. Please check with your school before you come to be sure the cost will be covered.
It is required that at least three people at each school be certified in CPR & First Aid. However, certification is recommended for all school staff, especially those who work with medically fragile students.
If you were certified in CPR last summer (2020), your certification is still current.
You will receive more information on how to access the CPR/First Aid course content at a later date. Look for an email with instructions.
Skill sessions will be held at GRANDVIEW TECHNOLOGY CENTER (GTC), 1591 Jordan Ave in Provo
